Bollywood actress Kajol is one of the most-sought after celebrities. From her iconic characters, bubbly nature to being the media’s favourite, fans often shower her with love and adoration on social media. Recently she was seen out and about the city however, she took her fans down the memory lane with her choice of outfit. The actress was seen dressed in a white salwar-suit which she had paired with a red dupatta. 

The internet immediately recalled her beloved character Anjali from the 1998 movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. In the movie, Kajol is seen donning a similar outfit when she returns home heartbroken. The only difference being that Anjali sported short hair in the film and Kajol paired her entire outfit with a black bag and Kolhapuri chappals. Well it is safe to say that netizens took to the comments sections to mention how even after so many years, the actress still reminds them of their beloved character. During a recent interview the actress had spoken about how, if it were upto her, her version of Anjali would never wear a saree. She had told Humans Of Bombay, “She would be wearing those track pants and fab, expensive sneakers with it and make that look good.” She had also revealed that on a script level, she would have gone with Salman Khan’s character Aman instead of Shah Rukh Khan’s Rahul. Well, those are some of the choices many have been vocal about on social media in recent years. We would have loved to see a confident tomboyish Anjali, getting hitched to Aman and leading a beautiful life. 

On the work front, Kajol was last seen on the big screen alongside Vishal Jethwa in the movie Salaam Venky. Based on the real-life story of Kolavennu Venkatesh and his mother, the movie was directed by Revathy and released on December 9. The actress will next be seen in The Good Wife and Lust Stories 2.
